New heavens and New earth
The 1st heaven and earth is perceived spiritually as the mortal (perishable) mind and body. The new heaven and earth is perceived as the spiritual (imperishable) mind and body in which all mortals are required to repent for the spiritual (eternal) life.
New heavens and new earth:
The former things are the world principles/ideas created by the mortal/fleshly minded. The new things are the spiritual principles out of the Kingdom of Life upon the repentance for the spiritual (immortal) life. The reason is that everyone must be born again into the spiritual life of newness so the things of oldness are put away for we cannot serve two masters.
The present earth and heaven is illuminated as the mortal/fleshly mind and body. The new earth and heaven is illuminated as the immortal/spiritual mind and body of Messiah in which we are the members of His newness after our repentance out of the "present/old earth and heaven" kingdom to serve YHWH in His kingdom of "new earth and heaven".
Isaiah 66:22-23 “For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith YHWH, so shall your seed and your name remain. And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith YHWH.”
2 Peter 3:13 “...according to His promise we are looking for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells.” Isa .65:17 “...I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.” Rom. 6:4 “...we also should walk in newness of life.” Col. 3:5-11 speaks of putting on the new self who is renewed to a true knowledge of YHWH. 2 Cor. 5:17 “Therefore if any man is in Messiah, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.”; Rev. 21:1-4 “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from Elohim out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of Elohim is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and Elohim himself shall be with them, and be their Elohim. And Elohim shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”
All chosen ones of YHWH are purified out of the fleshly works in their hearts at the ends of the fleshly ages. The illumination of the new heaven and a new earth is the head of Messiah (sanctified mind/Word of Life) and the body of Messiah (sanctified heart/Spirit of Life). The old things passed away are the fleshly works (immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, all other unclean spirits) purified out of the hearts. The new things come are the works of the Spirit (love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, etc) [Gal. 5:19-23].
New heaven and new earth, no sea, new Jerusalem:
Rev21:1-7 "Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and there is no longer any sea. And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from Elohim, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of Elohim is among men, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and Elohim Himself will be among them, and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away. And He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new. And He said, “Write, for these words are faithful and true. Then He said to me, It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give to the one who thirsts from the spring of the water of life without cost. He who overcomes will inherit these things, and I will be his Eloheyu and he will be My son."
The new heaven and new earth (spiritual mind and body) comes out of the old (fleshly body) at the end of fleshly age, when no sea (heart of mortality/net of good and bad fishes) is found. The new Jerusalem (city of holiness/inward temple) comes to the sanctified hearts as His eternal marriage of Him the bridegroom and His saints the bride in His one Unity (agreement in all His things). His tabernacle is for Him to dwell with us eternally as we are His people as He is our El [Eloheynu] (Might one). The first heaven and first earth passed away (fleshy mind and body) is thrown away into the lake of fire to consume eternally. The old Jerusalem is the city of mortality (outward temple).
Be not fashioned to this world:
Rom. 12:2 “And be not fashioned according to this world (first heaven and earth): but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of YHWH.” Josh. 22:5 “...to love YHWH your Elohim, and to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and to cleave unto him, and to serve him him with all your heart and with all your soul.” Acts 3:19 “Repent therefore and return, that your sins may be wiped away...” Isa 43:25 “...I am the one who wipes out your transgressions (our old things) for My own sake.” Col 2:13-14 “...having forgiven us all our transgressions, having cancelled out the certificate of debts consisting of decrees against us; and He has taken it out of the way...” Rom. 2 :18 “...know His will, and approve the things that are essential, being instructed out of the Law.”
Refrain our former minds and hearts of lawlessness (first heaven and earth). Let us continue the renewing of our minds and hearts (new heaven and new earth) thru the Law of purification till the ends of our flesh. Blessed are those who continue their delight in the Law of YHWH and in His Law he mediates day and night (Psalms 1:2).
Heaven and earth will pass away, but My Words will not pass away:
Luke 21:32-33 “Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all things take place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away." ;12:49-51 “I have come to cast fire upon the earth; and how I wish it were already kindled! But I have a baptism to undergo, and how distressed I am until it is accomplished! Do you suppose that I came to grant peace on earth? I tell you, no, but rather division"
The mortal things out of heaven (sky) and earth change daily by the law of nature, because of the opposing works such as hot vs. cold, life vs. death, light vs. darkness, love vs. hatred, happiness vs. sadness, maturity vs. immaturity, where they must come and go in our fleshly age (today's generation) while growing from the fleshly births, with the knowledge of good and evil in learning about the works of opposition. The immortal things out of heaven (Word of Life) and earth (Spirit of Life/performance) do not change because of its separation from the kingdom of mortality. Every one has two bodies (1 Cor. 15:42-44), one from the fleshly birth that is perishable and subjective to the works of lawlessness/impurity that must pass away when coming to the spiritual birth which is imperishable and subjective to the unchanging law of purity.
We must remove all old things (of first heavens and earth) out of our heart first so we can receive the new things (of new heavens and earth) at His coming. 1 Cor. 15:50-58 “...in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye (His coming), at the last truimph....we shall be changed. For this perishable (old things passed away) must put on the imperishable (new things have come)....” The first heaven (mind of lawlessness) and the first earth (heart/act of lawlessness) must pass away upon our repentance out of the kingdom of mortality, and the new heaven (Word of Life) and the new earth (Spirit of Life) never pass away.
Present earth and heaven fled away and no place found for them:
Rev. 20:11 "Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat upon it, from whose presence earth and heaven fled away, and no place was found for them."
His white throne He sat upon is His judgment against all the works of lawlessness. The earth and heaven fled away is symbolized as the mortal body and mind that does the works of lawlessness shall be passed away (dies) at the end of fleshly age when the spiritual/immortal body (new earth and new heaven) emerges out of it. John 12:24-25 "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit. He who loves his life loses it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it to life eternal."; 2 Peter 3:7 "But by His word the present heavens and earth are being reserved for fire, kept for the day of judgment and destruction of lawless men." He loves his spiritual life (Word of Life/grain of wheat) that is sown (lost) in his fleshly body (present earth), but if his fleshly body dies, then his spiritual body bears much fruit of Life. If the one loves the fleshly life, what is the valuation of the spiritual life (body) when the fleshly body dies? It is better to lose your fleshly valuation that promotes the work of lawlessness other than your spiritual valuation that keeps His Law of Life so you have your spiritual riches in His Kingdom of Life after the fleshly death. 2 Cor. 5:17 "Therefore if anyone is in haMashiyach, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come." The old (present) things passed away are from the present earth (mortal body) and heaven (mortal mind) that does the deeds of lawlessness and the new things come from His Kingdom of Life (Matt. 6:33) are from the new earth (spiritual body) and heaven (mind) that does the Law of Life eternally. If you are a member in (the Body) of Messiah, you are new creature (new earth/spiritual body and new heaven/mind).
Present heavens and earth are reserved for fire:
2 Pet. 3:7 "But by His word the present heavens and earth are being reserved for fire, kept for the day of judgment and destruction of lawless men."; Luke 12:49 "I have come to cast fire upon the earth; and how I wish it were already kindled!"; James 5:3 "Your gold and your silver have rusted; and their rust will be a witness against you and will consume your flesh like fire. It is in the last days that you have stored up your treasure!"; 1 Cor. 3:13-15 "each man's work will become evident; for the day will show it because it is to be revealed with fire, and the fire itself will test the quality of each man's work. If any man's work which he has built on it remains, he will receive a reward. If any man's work is burned up, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire."
Our present/fleshly bodies are consumed by His fire of purity to separate the opposing works till the ends of our fleshly ages. Our present/old earth (body of mortality) and heaven/mind (knowledge of mortality) will pass away (die), but our new earth (body of immortality) and mind (knowledge of immortality) will never die. Matt. 10:28 "Do not fear those who kill the body but are unable to kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell." The end of fleshly age is to separate between the perishable body that do the works of lawlessness and the imperishable body (soul) that does the works of His purity. 2 Cor 5:17 "therefore if anyone is in haMashiyach, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come."
Present heavens and earth, Day of judgment, new heavens and new earth:
2 Peter 3:7-13 "But by His word the present heavens and earth are being reserved for fire, kept for the day of judgment and destruction of lawless men. But do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with YHWH one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day. YHWH is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance. But the day of YHWH will come like a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a roar and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and its works will be burned up. Since all these things are to be destroyed in this way, what sort of people ought you to be in holy conduct and holiness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of Elohim, because of which the heavens will be destroyed by burning, and the elements will melt with intense heat! But according to His promise we are looking for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells."
The fleshly minded has the present heavens (mortal mind/knowledge of lawless/dark words) and earth (heart of mortality). The day of judgment/salvation is to separate from the fleshly/perishable body from the spiritual/ imperishable body at the time of the repentance for the shortened days till the end of fleshly age. The spiritual minded has the new heavens (immortal mind/knowledge of His words of Light) and earth (heart of immortality/ sanctification). All the works (elements) of lawlessness/fleshly body (wood) are consumed in His fire of purity and all the works of His Law of Life (spiritual body) are saved. 1 Cor. 3:12-15 "Now if any man builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, each man's work will become evident; for the day will show it because it is to be revealed with fire, and the fire itself will test the quality of each man's work. If any man's work which he has built on it remains, he will receive a reward. If any man's work is burned up, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire."; 2 Cor. 5:17 "Therefore if anyone is in haMashiyach, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come."
Famines (afflictions) and earthquakes (fleshly powers shaken) at the beginning of spiritual lives:
Matt 24:7-8 "For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes. But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs."; Acts 16:26 "And suddenly there came a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison house were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone's chains were unfastened."; Jer. 10:10 "But YHWH is the true Elohim; He is the living Elohim and the everlasting King. At His wrath the earth quakes, And the nations cannot endure His indignation."
When you come into your spiritual life by your repentance out of the kingdom of lawlessness, you will experience with all the works of afflictions and powers of lawlessness that must be loosened that are against you. Famines are illuminated as afflictions knowing the works of foolishness against you, and earthquakes are illuminated as powers of lawlessness shaken off like the foundations/bonds of lawlessness in your spiritual life shall be shaken off. 2 Cor. 1:3-7 "Blessed be haElohim and Father of our Master Yahushua haMashiyach, the Father of mercies and Elohim of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by Elohim. For just as the sufferings of haMashiyach are ours in abundance, so also our comfort is abundant through haMashiyach. But if we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation; or if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which is effective in the patient enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer; and our hope for you is firmly grounded, knowing that as you are sharers of our sufferings, so also you are sharers of our comfort." What can be shaken (quaked) is the work of lawlessness/mortality that is perished/consumed by His wrath (consuming fire), and what cannot be shaken is the work of immortality. Heb. 12:26-29 "And His voice shook the earth then, but now He has promised, saying, Yet once more I will shake not only the earth, but also the heaven. This expression, “Yet once more, denotes the removing of those things which can be shaken, as of created things, so that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude, by which we may offer to Elohim an acceptable service with reverence and awe; for our Eloheynu is a consuming fire." The present earth (body of lawlessness) and the present heaven (mind of lawlessness) can shaken off, but the new earth (Body of Messiah/Kingdom of Life where we are the new members of His resurrected body) and the new mind (Yahushua/head) cannot be shaken eternally.
Fleshly (first) Adam and Spiritual (last) Adam:
Fleshly (first) Adam lost his dominion to Satan for the violation of His Law of Life. Spiritual Adam (Son of Man, Yahushua) now has regained the new dominion (Kingdom of Light/new heavens and new earth) reigning with His chosen ones, sons of Light by overcoming the fleshly dominion of Satan upon the mortal men that may repent from the kingdom of lawlessness. The fleshly body is 1st Adam and the spiritual body is last Adam so everyone has two opposing bodies/kingdoms.
1 Cor. 15:23-28 “But each in his own order: the Messiah the first fruits; then they that are the Messiah's, at his coming. Then comes the end, when He shall deliver up, the kingdom of YHWH, even the Father; when He shall have abolished all rule and all authority and power. For He must reign, until He has put all His enemies under His feet. The last enemy that shall be abolished is death. For, He put all things in subjection under His feet. But when He says, All things are put in subjection, it is evident that He is expected who did subject all things to Him. And when all things have been subjected to Him, then shall the Son Himself also be subjected to Him that did subject all things to Him, that YHWH may be all in all.”; 15:42-49 “...So it is also written, The first man Adam became a living soul. The last Adam became a life-giving spirit. However, that is not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; then that which is spiritual. The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man of the heavens...”
For the coming of Son of Man shall be just like the days of Noah:
Matt. 24:37-39 "For the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah. For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and they did not understand until the flood came and took them all away; so will the coming of the Son of Man be."
What the earth (heart of mortality/lawlessness) being full of wickedness and Noah being the only one found in His grace tells us that we were the fleshly minded with our hearts of mortality and repent out of the kingdom (earth) of lawlessness to receive Yahushua the Messiah who is His only begotten Son (Word of Life) coming into our sanctified hearts by washing His blood of purity (Flood) away our fleshly works of wickedness.
Our fleshly bodies shall be taken away (dead) at the ends of our fleshly ages when our spiritual bodies are saved. No flesh shall be saved except for the shortened days of His sanctified servants (ark of Noah/Body of Messiah). From the beginning of our fleshly life to the end all the works of filthiness shall be washed away with His blood (flood) of purity (waters) upon our repentance of old heaven (mortal mind) and old earth (mortal heart) giving the way for our spiritual life being carried into His Kingdom of Life (new heaven/mind and new earth/heart).
His coming to the end of your fleshly age vs. those believe in "rapture" doctrines:
Luke 12:40-46 "You too, be ready; for the Son of Man is coming at an hour that you do not expect. Kepha said, Master, are You addressing this parable to us, or to everyone else as well? And the Master said, Who then is the faithful and sensible steward, whom his master will put in charge of his servants, to give them their rations at the proper time? Blessed is that slave whom his master finds so doing when he comes. Truly I say to you that he will put him in charge of all his possessions. But if that slave says in his heart, My master will be a long time in coming, and begins to beat the slaves, both men and women, and to eat and drink and get drunk; the master of that slave will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he does not know, and will cut him in pieces, and assign him a place with the unbelievers."
Many think that His second coming/rapture is the event to come some day in which has not been fulfilled for some 2000 years since His ascension when He was taken up (received) to heaven (Acts 1:2), because they do not know His coming (harvest time) is at the end of his fleshly age for everyone. Upon the repentance out of the kingdom of lawlessness, we are given His (talents) gifts of holiness to do during our spiritual lives till the ends of our fleshly ages as Matt. 25 instructs everyone to do what He explains in His parable to the end of his fleshly age, not for the end of the "world". Rev. 11:18 ".And the nations were enraged, and Your wrath came, and the time came for the dead to be judged, and the time to reward Your bond-servants the prophets and the saints and those who fear Your name, the small and the great, and to destroy those who destroy the earth." What it tells that YHWH destroys those (fleshly bodies) who do the deeds of lawlessness if they destroy the earth (temple) of His sanctification. Gen. 6:12-13 "Elohim looked on the earth, and behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted their way upon the earth. Then Elohim said to Noach, The end of all flesh has come before Me; for the earth is filled with violence because of them; and behold, I am about to destroy them with the earth."; 8:21 "YHWH smelled the soothing aroma; and YHWH said to Himself, I will never again curse the ground on account of man, for the intent of man’s heart is evil from his youth; and I will never again destroy every living thing, as I have done."; 1 Cor. 3:17 "If any man destroys the temple of Elohim, Elohim will destroy him, for the temple of Elohim is holy, and that is what you are." The earth of His sanctification after the Flood is the repentant heart with His blood to purify out all the works of wickedness in preparation of His Spirit of Life to dwell in. Many are taught falsely that the present earth and heaven is to be literally perished giving the way for the new earth and heaven in the future, but the present earth (perishable temple/heart) and heaven (mind) is now judged according to the deeds of mortality daily, and the new earth (imperishable temple/heart) and heaven (mind) is the body of Messiah whom we are the new creatures (members) upon our repentance while our old things (present earth and heaven) of mortality pass away. 2 Cor. 5:17-18 "Therefore if anyone is in haMashiyach, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. Now all these things are from Elohim, who reconciled us to Himself through haMashiyach and gave us the ministry of reconciliation."
Noah's days: the wicked (old) earth, repentance, sanctification, new earth:
Gen. 6:3 "Then YHWH said, My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, because he also is flesh; nevertheless his days shall be one hundred and twenty years."; 5-7 "Then YHWH saw that the wickedness of man was great on the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. YHWH was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. YHWH said, I will blot out man whom I have created from the face of the land, from man to animals to creeping things and to birds of the sky; for I am sorry that I have made them."; 9:11-13 "I establish My covenant with you; and all flesh shall never again be cut off by the water of the flood, neither shall there again be a flood to destroy the earth. Elohim said, This is the sign of the covenant which I am making between Me and you and every living creature that is with you, for all successive generations; I set My bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a sign of a covenant between Me and the earth."
It commands all to repent from the kingdom of wickedness (lawlessness/oldness) and then all are sanctified to His Kingdom of eternity (newness). The old earth (heart) is the kingdom of lawlessness and the new earth (repentant heart) is the Kingdom of eternity. The old heaven (mortal mind) is the word of lawlessness in which Satan dominates the fleshly minded, but the new heaven (immortal mind) is the Word of Life in which Yahushua our Messiah reigns with His sanctified servants, for the old heaven (Satan) falls down to the kingdom of death (under our feet).
One day like a thousand years:
Ps. 90:4 "For a thousand years in Your sight are like yesterday when it passes by, or as a watch in the night."; 2 Peter 3:7-8 "But by His word the present heavens and earth are being reserved for fire, kept for the day of judgment and destruction of lawless men. But do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with YHWH one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day."
One day (Day of judgment) is given to the repentant hearts where His Word of Life (Yahushua our Messiah) sits on His throne in the temple (sanctified heart of His chosen ones) judging (consuming by His purging fire) the works of opposition that must be separated into the opposing kingdoms at the ends of fleshly ages as to preserve the valuation of good works examined in His Kingdom of Life and to remove the valuation of evil works in the kingdom of death (lake of fire). Our fleshly temple (earth) and spirits of mortality (heavens) are destroyed for His Temple of holiness (new earth) come to our repentant hearts where His Spirit of Life (heaven) dwells in.
The thousand years is indicated as the dominance/perfection of all the examination of our obedience to His Law of Life that is separated from the works of impurity that are removed at the day of judgment when coming to repent from the kingdom of mortality. The longevity in the book of Genesis for those who died before a thousand years (Adam - 930 years old) is understood of their shortage of perfection because of the violation of His Law of Life. Rom 3:23-24 "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of Elohim, being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in haMashiyach Yahushua." It is the spiritual perception of being perfect as dwelling in His unending Kingdom (glory of our Elohim) for all the true believers. All the mortals must repent on the day of His judgment to dwell in His Kingdom of eternity (thousand years/dominance). To reign with our Messiah for a thousand years (Rev. 20:6) is the eternal dwelling in His Kingdom of Life while in the trials of our spiritual lives on the earth, where Satan the father of mortality must be released from the mortal heart (earth) at the time of fleshly expiration as to return our perishable body to the ground (dust) before our imperishable body is brought back to His eternal Kingdom (1 Cor. 15:42-44).
His Day of salvation is the point of reversal from our former kingdoms of mortality subjected to Satan's dominion/imperfect powers (1000 years) that is multiplied to his words of lawlessness in the mortal heart, to His Kingdom of immortality subjected to YHWH's dominion/perfection (1000 years) that is multiplied to His Word of purity in the repentant/sanctified heart. The ends of our fleshly ages (death) is the short time permitted for Satan to remove our perishable bodies as to return dust to the earth then our imperishable bodies are returned to YHWH, like the wheat and tares grow together till the harvest time, and tares are removed first and thrown at the lake of fire then wheat is preserved to His barn (Kingdom of Life).
Our previous works of present earth/heaven vs. our works of new earth/heaven (2 Peter 3):
2 Peter 3:1-14 "This is now, beloved, the second letter I am writing to you in which I am stirring up your sincere mind by way of reminder, that you should remember the words spoken beforehand by the holy prophets and the commandment of the Master and Savior spoken by your apostles. Know this first of all, that in the last days mockers will come with their mocking, following after their own lusts, and saying, Where is the promise of His coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all continues just as it was from the beginning of creation. For when they maintain this, it escapes their notice that by the word of Elohim the heavens existed long ago and the earth was formed out of water and by water, through which the world at that time was destroyed, being flooded with water. But by His word the present heavens and earth are being reserved for fire, kept for the day of judgment and destruction of lawless men. But do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with YHWH one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day. Therefore, beloved, since you look for these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, spotless and blameless"
All the fleshly minded comes to this present earth and heaven to do the deeds of lawlessness under Satan's dominion, for the present earth (kingdom/body of mortality) and the present heaven (words of lawlessness) is first revealed to all the fleshly births.
Upon their repentance out of the kingdom of lawlessness, they are transformed to His Kingdom of Life in serving Him that has overcomes this world of mortality and has Satan fallen down to this present earth (under His feet), for the new earth (Kingdom of Life) and the new heaven (Word of Life) is revealed to them. 2 Cor. 5:17 "Therefore if anyone is in haMashiyach, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come." The old things passed away are the works of present earth and heaven (lawlessness), in which their hearts are purified with His new things to come.
What is the present heavens and earth (heart and mind) seen and heard? Matt. 15:18-20 "But the things that proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and those defile the man. For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, slanders. These are the things which defile the man; but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile the man."; Rom. 2:5-6 "But because of your stubbornness and unrepentant heart you are storing up wrath for yourself in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of Elohim, who will render to each person according to his deeds" The present heavens and earth are being reserved for the day of His consuming fire (judgment) unless they repent of their works of lawlessness so they can be transformed to His Kingdom of Life.
What is the new heaven and earth seen and heard? Verse 13 "But according to His promise we are looking for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells"; Rom 8:9-10 "However, you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of Elohim dwells in you. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of haMashiyach, he does not belong to Him. If haMashiyach is in you, though the body is dead because of sin, yet the spirit is alive because of righteousness."; John 8:23-24 "And He was saying to them, You are from below, I am from above; you are of this world, I am not of this world. Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I am He, you will die in your sins"
If those (fleshly minded) who are in the flesh (present heaven and earth), the spirits of death/lawlessness dwell in them, but if those (spiritual minded) who are in the Spirit (new heaven and earth), the Spirit of Life/righteousness dwell in them.
A self-righteous creature who do not do the will of YHWH for he does the will of the kingdom of good and evil. Gen. 3:5 “...your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as elohim, knowing good and evil.” Matt. 4:6 “...all the kingdoms of the world (first earth), and the glory of them.” There are many elohim in their kingdoms in the world (first earth) reigned by Satan, but there is one Kingdom of YHWH (new heavens and new earth) where there is YHWH our El (Eloheynu) only we serve.
2 Cor. 5:17-18 If you are in the Messiah, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold all things are become new. And all things are of Elohim...”
They are the works of flesh and works of Spirit (Gal 5:19-24). Throw all old possessions of the kingdom of darkness (first heaven and earth) and add the new possessions of the kingdom of Light (new heaven and new earth) (Matt. 6:33; 7:7-12).
